Jeremy Grantham
Mr. Grantham co-founded GMO in 1977. Prior to GMO’s founding, Mr. Grantham was co-founder of Batterymarch Financial Management in 1969 where he recommended commercial indexing in 1971, one of several claims to being first. He began his investment career as an economist with Royal Dutch Shell. Mr. Grantham serves as GMO’s Chairman and is an active member of GMO’s asset allocation division. He has also served on investment boards of several non-profit organizations. Mr. Grantham has been featured in Forbes, Barron’s and Business Week and is routinely quoted by the financial press. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Sheffield (U.K.) and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.



Ben Inker
Mr. Inker is the chief investment officer for quantitative equities in global developed markets and director of asset allocation. Mr. Inker joined GMO following the completion of his B.A. in Economics from Yale University. He is a CFA charterholder.



Edmund Bellord
Mr. Bellord is a member of GMO’s asset allocation team. Prior to joining GMO, he was a senior portfolio manager at State Street Global Advisors Capital Management. Previously, he worked at Mellon Capital Management as a strategist. Mr. Bellord earned his M.A. in Economics from the University of Edinburgh in Scotland and his M.B.A. at the University of California in Berkeley.



Edward Chancellor
Mr. Chancellor is a member of GMO’s asset allocation team and focuses on capital market research. He has worked as a financial commentator and consultant and has written for the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Financial Times, and Institutional Investor, among others. He is the recipient of the 2007 George Polk Award for financial journalism. Mr. Chancellor is the author of several books including Crunch Time for Credit (2005) and Devil Take the Hindmost: A History of Financial Speculation (1999), a New York Times Notable Book of the Year. Prior to joining GMO, he worked as deputy U.S. editor for Breakingviews.com in New York and for Lazard Brothers. Mr. Chancellor earned his B.A. in History from Trinity College and his Masters of Philosophy in Modern History from Oxford University.



Matt Kadnar
Mr. Kadnar is a member of GMO’s asset allocation team focusing on research and portfolio management. Prior to joining GMO, he was an investment specialist and consultant relations manager at Putnam Investments. Previously, he served as in-house counsel for LPL Financial Services and as a senior associate at Melick & Porter, LLP. Mr. Kadnar has a B.S. from Boston College majoring in Finance and Philosophy and a J.D. from St. Louis University School of Law. He is a CFA charterholder.



Vassil Konstantinov
Mr. Konstantinov is a member of GMO’s asset allocation team focusing on building quantitative models at the asset class level. Prior to joining GMO, he was involved in quantitative research at Arrowstreet Capital. Previously, he was an assistant professor at San Francisco State University. Mr. Konstantinov earned his B.A. and M.A. in Economics from Yale University and his PhD in Business Economics from Harvard University. He is a CFA charterholder.



Nick Nanda
Mr. Nanda is responsible for research and portfolio management for GMO’s asset allocation mandates. He joined GMO following the completion of his B.A. in Economics from Oberlin College. He is a CFA charterholder.



Asia-Pacific

Sean Gleason
Mr. Gleason is responsible for portfolio management at GMO Australia. Prior to joining GMO, he was a quantitative analyst specializing in portfolio management of global tactical asset allocation portfolios for Westpac Investment Management. Previously, he was an analyst forecasting passenger and revenue demand at Qantas Airways Limited. Mr. Gleason earned his B.S. in Computer Science and his Master of Commerce in Business Statistics from the University of New South Wales. He is a CFA charterholder.



Jonathan Goll
Mr. Goll is an Executive Director of GMO’s Singapore office, and engages in institutional business development activities, client relationship matters and quantitative product management in Asia. He also conducts global tactical asset allocation research on behalf of GMO. Prior to joining GMO, he worked at Schroder Investment Management and Standard & Poor’s in Singapore, as well as Towers Perrin in Hong Kong and Sydney. Mr. Goll graduated Honours Co-op (with Distinction) from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Mathematics degree, majoring in Actuarial Science with a minor in Statistics. He is a CFA charterholder.



Jason Halliwell
At GMO Australia, Mr. Halliwell is involved in quantitative research. Prior to joining GMO, he was a quantitative analyst specializing in tactical asset allocation research and implementation at Westpac Investment Management. Mr. Halliwell earned his Ll.B. and B.Comm. (Hons) in Finance from the University of Queensland.



Craig Louis
Mr. Louis is responsible for researching, implementing and maintaining global tactical asset allocation strategies at GMO. Prior to joining GMO, he managed the global tactical asset allocation business at Suncorp Investment Management for almost ten years. Before becoming involved in TAA, Mr. Louis was employed by the Commonwealth Treasury where he designed and built economic models. Mr. Louis holds a bachelors degree in economics and honours in econometrics from the Australian National University.



Peter Martin
Mr. Martin is a portfolio analyst with the global tactical asset allocation team. Previously he was Operations Manager at GMO Australia. Prior to joining GMO, Mr. Martin worked at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia where he spent over three years as an Account Manager for a fund accounting team looking after large domestic superannuation clients. Prior to this he worked in a similar capacity for other financial institutions, including State Street Australia. Mr. Martin holds a Bachelor of Mathematics Finance degree from the University of Wollongong and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investments from the Securities Institute of Australia.



Andrew Thompson
Mr. Thompson is a portfolio manager at GMO Australia and is responsible for global tactical asset allocation research and systems development. Prior to joining GMO, he worked as a quantitative strategist for Suncorp Investment Management. Previously, he worked as an investment analyst for Tactical Global Management Limited. Mr. Thompson earned his Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor Economics with Honors from the University of Queensland and his Bachelor of Science from the University of Southern Queensland.
